Job summary

OPIS is a leading international CRO seeking a hungry for success Business Development Associate. This fully home-based role focuses on expanding OPIS’s global client network across life sciences, with emphasis on APAC.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to identify opportunities, research target companies, and connect with decision-makers in pharma and biotech. You’ll coordinate meetings, maintain CRM data, and nurture client relationships while delivering onboarding and training to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or degree.
• 1-3 years of sales experience (BDR/SDR/recruitment, etc.).
• Native/fluent Japanese and English with strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
• Eager to grow and develop within the role.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Research and analyze organizations to identify decision-makers.
• Coordinate meetings between clients and OPIS experts.
• Maintain CRM data and prepare regular activity reports.
• Follow up with leads and nurture client relationships.
