Job summary

Tech Sales Jobs is seeking a Manager, Market Business Development for APAC to lead a distributed team across Japan, China, and South Korea. This player-coach role partners with Marketing, Account Executives, and Business Units to accelerate opportunity creation and revenue growth in APAC.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharma/biotech/life sciences, proven regional leadership, strong analytical skills, and fluent English. Remote role with ~25% travel within APAC and global collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare-related industries.
Proven people leadership experience with geographically dispersed teams.
Experience in business development, inside sales, or sales leadership.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and stakeholder management.
Business-level English proficiency.
Ability to work in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Lead a Market Business Development team across APAC.
Develop and execute regional growth strategies for APAC.
Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Leadership, and BUs to identify opportunities.
Guide lead qualification and early-stage opportunity progression.
Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to improve conversions.
Represent the function at customer meetings and industry events.
