Job summary

CFS in Tampa, FL is seeking an AP Specialist to manage end-to-end accounts payable/receivable in a hybrid work environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

You will process invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations, support contractor billing and AIA docs, and help improve processes with accurate records.

Ideal candidates have experience with AP/AR cycles, invoicing, and high-volume processing; knowledge of construction accounting is a plus for this growing operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle AP or AR processes.
• Strong invoicing, collections, and reconciliations experience.
• Knowledge of AIA billing or contractor pay apps is a plus.
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing in accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable or accounts receivable from start to finish.
• Process invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations accurately.
• Review exceptions and resolve discrepancies with vendors or customers as needed.
• Support contractor billing, pay applications, and AIA documentation where applicable.
• Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to process improvements.
