Ledgent in Tampa, FL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) to join a growing team. This role focuses on high-volume invoice processing, 3-way matching, vendor management, and account reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP, strong attention to detail, and experience with ERP/Excel. Responsibilities include vendor inquiries, payments, and month-end close support while maintaining internal controls.

Formación

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience.
• Experience in a high-volume invoice processing environment.
• Understanding of the full AP cycle, including invoice entry, approvals, payments, and reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Process high-volume PO and non-PO invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
• Verify coding, approvals, and supporting documentation prior to payment processing.
• Research and resolve invoice, pricing, quantity, and payment discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Process ACH, wire, and check payments according to established schedules.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and banking information.
• Support 1099 preparation and audit requests as needed.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize ERP and accounting systems to improve efficiency and streamline AP processes.
• Assist with accounts payable responsibilities across multiple business locations.
