Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Experience processing invoices, coding expenses, and managing payment runs.
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, deposits, and online banking activities.
• Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable process including invoice matching, coding, posting, and payment processing.
• Process approximately 100–200 invoices weekly while maintaining accuracy across departments, grants, and locations.
• Perform banking activities including deposits, electronic file uploads, account monitoring, and positive pay administration.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding account discrepancies.
• Serve as the AP Specialist responsible for journal entries and supporting month-end close activities.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure expenses are coded accurately in a highly manual accounting environment.
