Job summary

Majors Management is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP and purchasing card functions across multiple entities. You will supervise a four-person AP team, own the full procure-to-pay cycle in DocuWare and Bill.com, and ensure accurate intercompany and GL coding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 5+ years accounts payable experience.
• Experience supervising a small AP team and multi-entity accounting.
• Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS) and internal controls.
• Experience with DocuWare and BILL Spend & Expense preferred.
• Excellent communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop four AP teammates; set priorities, workload, and performance goals.
• Oversee end-to-end AP operations in DocuWare; coding to correct entities and GL accounts; intercompany awareness.
• Administer the P-card program; set limits, monitor compliance, conduct monthly reconciliations.
• Manage AP month-end close; prepare aging and accruals; reconcile subledger to GL by entity.
• Maintain vendor master data, 1099s, and fraud-prevention controls; interface with auditors.
• Build Excel-based AP reporting; develop SOPs and drive process automation.
• Plan and lead AP system implementation/upgrades; data migration and UAT.
