Job summary

LHH, in partnership with a well-established transportation and supply chain company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP operation across multiple entities and manage a team of 8–9 professionals.

You will drive process improvements, ensure strong controls, mentor staff, and collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and Operations to optimize cash flow and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the accounts payable function across multiple domestic and international entities.
• Manage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices, payments, vendor maintenance, and disbursements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, audit compliance, and accounting policy adherence.
• Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and Operations teams to support cash flow management and vendor relationships.
• Oversee month-end and year-end AP close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and workflow efficiencies.
• Support ERP and financial system enhancements while developing key performance metrics for the department.
