Marmon Holdings, Inc. seeks a resourceful Accounts Payable Assistant Co-Op to join the Alexandria facility. The role is on-site, part-time (20 hours per week), designed for a college student pursuing an accounting-related degree.

You will work within a team under the Plant Controller and Accounting Specialist, handling invoice data entry, coding, and document management with a high emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in college with sophomore standing or higher.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with accuracy.
• Review, verify, and code invoices in accordance with policies.
• Assist with reconciling invoice and payment information for accuracy.
• Scan and upload payment batches and supporting docs, into document management systems.
• Support Accounting Specialist and Plant Controller on projects and maintain controls.
