Job summary

Holman is seeking a Supervisor- Accounts Payable & Receivable to lead daily AP/AR activities, supervise the AP/AR team, and ensure accurate processing and timely reporting. The role collaborates across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and IT to optimize processes and implement technology improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 1–3 years of progressive AP/AR experience, with strong Excel and ERP system skills, and a proven ability to manage relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, or a related accounting function.
• Experience with invoice processing, collections, account reconciliation, cash application, journal entries, and month-end activities.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising others in an accounting or finance environment.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and ERP/billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day AP and AR activities, ensuring accurate processing, collections, cash application, and financial reporting.
• Supervise, coach, and develop AP/AR team members and set priorities.
• Oversee timely processing of vendor invoices and payments per policy and terms.
• Monitor customer accounts, lead collections on overdue balances, and document accounts.
• Oversee cash applications and resolve credits and unapplied balances promptly.
• Review AR adjustments, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end activity.
• Maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve disputes.
• Prepare and analyze payment, collection, aging, cash, and performance data for management.
• Maintain internal controls to reduce errors, fraud, and non-compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, IT on process improvements and tech implementations.
• Monitor KPIs and drive standardization and automation.
