Job summary

North American Specialty Laminations (NASL) is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to assist with the company’s administrative finance and accounting tasks. You will enter data, process payable and receivable transactions, and manage invoices and payments with accuracy.

Responsibilities include vendor communications, invoice processing, weekly payment runs, and reporting on delinquent accounts. Proficiency in ERP (Epicor) and MS Office is preferred; two to four years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of related experience and/or training.
• Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication across levels.
• Proficient with data entry; ERP (Epicor) and financial software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Inquisitive to obtain accurate AP/AR information from internal and external customers.
• Able to calculate discounts, percentages, and basic algebra.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments or invoice accuracy.
• Process and code incoming vendor invoices into Accounts Payable.
• Post customer payments and deposits; manage Accounts Receivable duties.
• Process weekly payment runs per company policy.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes for the company.
• Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Create reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles.
• Reconcile cash receipts and deposits.
• Assist Accounting Manager with special accounting projects/tasks.
• Maintain W9s, Sales Tax Exemption Certificates, and Certificates of Insurance.
• Provide back-up for office administrative duties as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
