Job summary

J&J Bros – A Carabetta Company in Meriden, CT is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, and day-to-day operations with accuracy and reliability.

The ideal candidate has experience with AP/AR, QuickBooks, and strong organizational skills to manage financial records in a fast-paced office environment. This is an in-person position based in Meriden, CT.

Qualifications

• Experience in AP and AR is required.
• QuickBooks proficiency is required.
• Office suite skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain AP transactions including invoices and vendor payments.
• Process AR transactions including customer invoices and payments.
• Enter and maintain financial data in QuickBooks.
• Prepare invoices for accuracy and coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
• Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper financial records.
• Provide accounting and administrative support.
