We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst to support a busy AP team in a high-volume environment. This role focuses on supplier inquiries, account reconciliations, issue resolution, and AP research rather than routine invoice processing. The ideal candidate will have strong Accounts Payable experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proven ability to resolve complex vendor and purchasing issues.

Responsibilities

Location: Orlando, FL - Hybrid

Pay: $28/hour

• Manage supplier inquiries through email and phone communication
• Perform supplier account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Research and resolve invoice, purchase order, receipt, and pricing issues
• Work closely with vendors, purchasing teams, branch locations, and warehouse personnel to resolve AP exceptions
• Review vendor statements and aging reports to ensure timely payment and issue resolution
• Handle escalations and complex AP problem-solving activities
• Partner with offshore processing teams to resolve inquiries and exceptions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Analyze AP data using advanced Excel functions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct Accounts Payable experience required
• Experience resolving complex AP discrepancies, not just invoice entry
• Strong understanding of 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and goods receipt)
• Experience supporting inventory, warehouse, distribution, or purchasing environments
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Experience with supplier account reconciliations and vendor management
• Experience working with purchasing teams and inventory-related AP processes
• Oracle Cloud experience preferred but not required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
