Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Antenna Engineer to contribute to antenna, radome, and measurement system design within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. You will develop hardware, run simulations, and help translate requirements into realizable solutions.

The role requires a Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering by start date, familiarity with RF theory, and proficiency with HFSS/CST/FEKO/SENTRi/GRASP. Collaboration with suppliers and HPC resources is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering obtained by start date.
• Experience and/or coursework with RF and electromagnetic theory.
• Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and GRASP.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
• Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.
• Work with antenna manufacturing suppliers.
• Antenna modeling and simulation execution on workstations and HPC resources.
• Interpret simulation or measurement data to verify performance to requirements.
