Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to support the Angio lab with scrubbing, imaging, and patient care responsibilities. The role requires maintaining licensure and providing procedural assistance in a collaborative team environment.

The position is part-time (30 hours) with hourly rates listed; prior ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or equivalents are preferred, along with VIR certification and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, and state licensure or certifications required.
• PALS within 120 days for pediatric hospitals.
• VIR certification preferred; 2+ years Angio/Interventional experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications for the position.
• Provide procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policies.
• Operate IR equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare the patient for the exam.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to protocol for medical necessity, coding, consents, QC, and incident reporting.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Manage hemostasis by suturing or applying pressure after the procedure.

Education

ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire

BCLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS - within 120 Days

State licensure and/or certifications

PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days

VIR certification

Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience or VIR certification
