Aufgaben

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating/scrub/monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and ensures quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and QC programs.
• Obtains informed consent and follows coding guidelines.
• Educates patient, ensures comfort and communicates concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and adverse events.
• Coordinates care and communicates with other providers.
• At end of procedure, manages hemostasis by suturing/pressure.
