Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support.
• ACLS - within 120 Days.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days (for pediatric hospitals).
• Relevant State Licensure and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment to ensure quality images.
• Prepares the patient for the exam and verifies identity.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Documents procedures and any adverse events; reports equipment issues.
• Coordinates patient care and informs care providers as needed.
• Ensures hemostasis after the procedure.
