Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to support our Imaging service line. You will perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, circulating tech duties, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.

The role requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, state licensure, and 1–2 years Angio/Interventional experience. This is a part-time, 30-hour week at Saint Joseph Hospital with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support.
• ACLS - within 120 Days.
• Relevant State Licensure and/or certifications.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days (for pediatric hospitals).

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Understands and operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging guidelines, obtaining consents, and QC programs.
• Provides patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and adverse reactions.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers.
• At the end of the procedure, manages sheath and hemostasis.
