Qualifications

• Current BCLS certification with ACLS within 120 days of hire.
• Active state licensure or applicable certifications for practice.
• PALS certification required for pediatric hospitals when applicable.
• VIR certification is preferred for VIR scope.
• Experience in angiography/interventional radiography is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licensure and certifications required for the position.
• Assist procedurally as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policy.
• Operate IR equipment to ensure high-quality images.
• Prepare patients, verify identity, and review orders.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Document procedures, outcomes, and any adverse events.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care teams.
• Manage sheath closure and hemostasis after procedures.
