Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, Colorado, seeks an Angio/Interventionalist I to support our Imaging service line. The role is part-time (30 hours) with a varied schedule and an hourly wage range.

You will assist in angiography procedures, scrubbing, and image acquisition while maintaining licensure and adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate has ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and state licensure, with 1–2 years of relevant Angio experience or VIR certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT—American Registry Upon Hire.
• BCLS—Basic Life Support.
• ACLS—within 120 Days.
• Relevant State Licensure and/or certifications.
• PALS—Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days (for pediatric hospitals).
• Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience or VIR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient, ensures identification and order verification.
• Adheres to radiation safety and maintains a safe environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, consents, and QC.
• Educates patients, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and outcomes.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Manages sheath after procedures to obtain hemostasis.
