The position requires ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, state licensure, and pediatric prerequisites as needed. It is a part-time role with a 30-hour schedule and hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification at hire and active state licensure.
• BCLS certification at hire; ACLS within 120 days.
• PALS if serving pediatric patients; appropriate state certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, per policies.
• Operates IR equipment and ensures quality images are produced.
• Prepares the patient, verifies identity and orders, and assists during exams.
• Adheres to radiation safety and maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, consents, QC, and reports equipment issues.
• Educates patients, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and adverse reactions.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Ends procedure by managing sheath and achieving hemostasis.

Education

ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire

BCLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS - within 120 Days

Relevant State Licensure and/or certifications

PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days (for pediatric hospitals)
