Job summary

UNC Health Anesthesia Support ASC in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a part-time Anesthesia Technician to support safe anesthesia care and equipment readiness for procedures. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technician program (or equivalent)
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• For graduates: No prior experience required; for HS diploma: six months OR experience; for Trainee: one year OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Anesthesiologists/CRNAs in all phases of anesthesia care and patient transport.
• Set up, inspect, calibrate, test and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention during line placement and procedure setup.
