Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technician program (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• If graduation from an accredited program: no prior experience required; for HS diploma: six months OR experience; for Trainee: one year OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive and non-invasive monitoring devices and patient positioning during all phases of anesthesia care.
• Perform 12-point equipment inspections and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment as needed.
• Prepare fluids and setups, maintain sterile technique, and ensure proper labeling of specimens and medications.
