Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technician program or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• One year OR experience for a Trainee option: direct patient care and/or equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assists with invasive and non-invasive monitoring devices and patient positioning; prepares fluids and setups; observes sterile technique during line placement.
• Performs quality control and troubleshooting on anesthesia equipment; inspects and labels supplies; participates in QA program.
• Sets up anesthesia equipment and supplies; cleans equipment daily; restocks cabinets and returns unused supplies.
