Job summary

The UNC Health Anesthesia Support Department is seeking a highly motivated Anesthesia Technician to join a team where your technical expertise directly supports safe anesthesia care for patients every day.

You will work evenings in a part-time role, collaborating with Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, CAAs, and perioperative staff to ensure equipment readiness, patient safety, and smooth case flow in a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technician program (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive and non-invasive monitoring equipment and support the anesthesia care team during patient procedures.
• Prepare fluids, equipment, and clinical setups while maintaining sterile technique during line placement.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment and assist with patient positioning and transport.
