UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia care team by setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment and assisting with invasive and non-invasive monitoring for patients.

The role includes preparing fluids and supplies, ensuring equipment is clean and ready for use, and aiding with induction, maintenance and extubation under supervision. Evening schedule, full-time, onsite.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technician program.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Six months OR calibration/maintenance experience or related healthcare setting experience for non-graduates.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Anesthesiologist or CRNA with invasive and non-invasive monitoring devices and patient positioning.
• Perform setup, calibration and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment; ensure sterility and proper labeling of fluids/medications.
• Prepare fluids and supplies, maintain equipment through regular checks, and restock or return unused items to proper locations.
