Job summary

Ohio State University Medical Center seeks an Anesthesia Technician to join the James Operating Rooms and other approved locations. You will set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment, and coordinate anesthesia/Auto transfusion services under the Anesthesia Services manager. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3 months patient care and equipment experience; a Cert.

A.T. is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months patient care experience or equivalent.
• 3 months experience with medical equipment or equivalent.
• Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cert. A.T.) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinate anesthesia and Auto transfusion services for procedures.
• Support physicians and staff with diagnostic and treatment services in critical care.
• Stock and organize work areas; maintain safety standards for patients and staff.
