Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia care in the James Operating Rooms and related locations. You will set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment, and assist the team in delivering safe patient care.

Under supervision of the Anesthesia Services Manager, you will coordinate anesthesia and auto transfusion services, stock supplies, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 months patient care experience or equivalent.
• 3 months experience with medical equipment or similar.
• A Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cert. A.T.) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, check, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinate Anesthesia and Auto transfusion services with physicians and staff.
• Stock and organize supplies; ensure clean and safe work areas.
