Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the James Operating Rooms and other approved anesthetizing locations. You will assist with setting up, inspecting, maintaining and calibrating anesthesia equipment, and coordinate anesthesia-related services under supervision.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, with 3 months patient care and equipment handling experience; AS Att. preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus related experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinate anesthesia and auto transfusion services for procedures.
• Stock and organize work areas; ensure safety for patients and staff.
