Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the James Operating Rooms and approved anesthetizing locations. You will assist with equipment setup, maintenance and calibration, coordinating anesthesia support, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment for surgeries.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience with medical equipment; certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Anesthesia Technician (AT) preferred but not required.
• 3 months patient care experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinate anesthesia and auto transfusion services for procedures.
• Follow safety rules and operate within manuals.
• Keep work areas stocked, clean and organized.
