Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of OR experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ASATT certification preferred.
• Competency with Laser, video, Endoscopy equipment.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist with anesthesia equipment setup.
• Set up invasive lines for patient monitoring.
• Prepare cell saving procedures and laser/video equipment.
• Set up other OR equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Coordinate duties with RN Charge Nurse and follow department protocols.
