Job summary

Montage Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for per diem shifts in our operating rooms and procedural areas in California. The role supports anesthesia care by preparing, sterilizing, and stocking equipment, and coordinating with the Charge Nurse on room turnover and equipment readiness.

The position requires 2–3 years of OR/PACU/ICU experience, basic computer skills, and a current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years OR/PACU/ICU experience as Nursing Assistant, Orderly, or Patient Care Tech required.
• Previous Respiratory Therapy or Anesthesia Technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of materials management, stocking and inventory processes preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Charge Nurse in surgical and procedural areas to prioritize room turnover and set-up of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Encourages regular communication, informs lead anesthesia tech and nursing staff of relevant workflow issues.
• Maintains proficiency and provides support in the application, preparation, and troubleshooting of equipment for anesthesia care.
• To clean, prepare for sterilization, assemble, store, stock, orders, and maintain equipment and supplies for the anesthesia department.
