Job summary

Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles is seeking a Surgical Technician II to support the OR team before, during, and after procedures while maintaining sterile technique and equipment readiness.

This per diem, days shift role requires 1+ year acute care experience, CST certification, and BLS; graduates of accredited Surgical Technology programs are preferred. You’ll collaborate in a fast-paced environment, uphold patient safety, and must obtain an LA City Fire Card within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of acute care experience as a Surgical Technician.
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures and sterile technique.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Attention to detail and patient safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and equipment.
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures.
• Ensure aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Complete required documentation and quality reports.
