Job summary

The role maintains and stocks anesthesia supplies and performs basic equipment maintenance, working closely with OR leadership and Biomedical Engineering to ensure readiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced OR.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or fast-paced OR environment.
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
• Willingness to rotate shifts, take call, and work weekends.
• English literacy for directions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists with monitoring line placement and intubations as appropriate.
• Maintain, stock, and order anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Provide first-line equipment maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Anesthesia, OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering to ensure equipment is safe, current, and clean.
