Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists with monitoring line placements, intubations, and various invasive or noninvasive procedures as appropriate. You will maintain, stock anesthesia supplies and equipment, ensuring expiry dates are met and collaborating with Anesthesia, the OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering.

Requirements include experience in a Level I Trauma Center or fast-paced OR, the ability to work quickly under pressure, strong organization,

Qualifications

• The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or a fast paced OR environment.
• Basic mathematical skills to quickly and accurately add, subtract, divide, and multiply whole numbers and decimals manually or using a calculator.
• Availability to rotate shifts, take call and work weekends.
• Ability to speak, read and follow directions in English.
