Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking an Anesthesia Tech/Patient Specialty Services Tech to support anesthesiologists by preparing equipment, setting up invasive lines for monitoring, and assisting in laser procedures. Candidates should have ASATT certifications (Cer.A.T.T. or Cer.A.T.), experience with Rapid Transfuser and invasive IV lines, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ASATT certifications preferred: Cer.A.T.T. or Cer.A.T.
• Experience with Rapid Transfuser and invasive IV lines required.
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments with clinicians and staff.
• Proficient in medical terminology in English.
• Full awareness of infection control, OSHA, and universal precautions.
• Ability to lift/push 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with anesthesia equipment and related devices encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist by preparing equipment for anesthesia.
• Set up invasive lines for patient monitoring per protocol.
• Support laser procedures, equipment setup, and OR readiness.
