Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking an Anesthesia Coordinator to support onsite operations across the Anesthesia program. You will manage schedules, coordinate physician/CRNA onboarding, and act as a liaison with hospital departments to ensure credentialing, enrollment, and smooth workflow.

The role emphasizes organizational excellence, communication, and collaboration with Program Medical Director and regional leadership to improve operational, financial, and clinical performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant Certification required.
• 1-2 yearsHealthcare customer service and/or medical office experience preferred.
• Hospital or physician group management experience preferred; strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed healthcare environment with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage anesthesia team schedules with site leadership and staffing coordinator; plan 3–6 months ahead.
• Coordinate onsite physician/CRNA interviews and onboarding; follow up on recommendations.
• Ensure payroll documentation and accurate shift rates; maintain proper documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between Sound Physicians and Hospital Medical Staff Office; support credentialing and enrollment processes.
• Communicate program updates to the anesthesia team and maintain key documents; coordinate with Payroll, Billing, Compliance.
• Support monthly team meetings; manage agendas, rooms, and minutes; handle incoming calls and mail.
