The Practice Coordinator at Sound Physicians works onsite at the hospital partner daily, supporting the Practice Medical Director, Clinicians, and a Clinical Performance Nurse. You will oversee daily administrative operations, onboarding, site policies, scheduling, privileging coordination, and billing/documentation compliance to enable smooth patient care and strong partner relations.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations
• Knowledge of HR information systems and basic HR knowledge

Responsibilities

• General administrative support to medical practice under the direction of the medical director and practice administrator
• Providing office management functions including meeting coordination, office systems, supplies and events
• Collaborating with Medical Director and Practice Management Team in developing and maintaining site practice policies and procedures
• Facilitating daily patient census/reconciliation and daily multi-disciplinary rounds as applicable
• Onboarding and orientation for new clinicians including locums and ambassadors; coordinating interviews with hospital leadership
• Ensuring billing and documentation compliance for the practice and supporting compliance training
