Cityblock seeks an Analytics Lead to drive data products and raise the analytics bar across engineering, data science, product, and clinical teams. This role emphasizes influence over authority and ownership of domain metrics and semantic definitions.

You will mentor specialists, set engineering standards, and partner to deliver scalable analytics solutions while shaping AI-enabled workflows and self-serve data products for broad adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of analytics or analytics-engineering delivering scalable solutions in production.
• Strong expertise in dbt, complex SQL, and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery / Looker preferred).
• Hands-on experience building semantic layers / metrics frameworks.
• Proven fluency with Git / GitHub and CI/CD workflows, plus demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead hands-on development of analytics and reporting solutions for a squad's domain.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science and product on architecture and data contracts.
• Build durable partnerships with clinical, operational, and research leaders; identify levers to drive system change.
• Champion AI-enabled development and early conversational-analytics workflows.
• Own and maintain a domain analytics roadmap and ship self-serve data products with high adoption.
