Job summary

Sysco Oklahoma (Division of USA II) is seeking a Local New Business Developer to drive growth by executing strategies and leveraging analytics on the Salesforce platform. You will lead cross-functional efforts to win new business, build targeted plans, and transition accounts to the sales force during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum: HS diploma or GED with 3+ years B2B sales experience.
• 2+ years of new business development proven track record.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the agreed local new business plan aligned with the region's financial goals.
• Work with regional sales leaders on a comprehensive business development strategy.
• Leverage advanced analytics insights to prioritize opportunities and develop local new business regional strategy.
• Coordinate proposal process for local contracts (LC2) with cross-functional team.
• Build sales plans targeting opportunities under $5M annualized revenue.
• Collaborate with brokers, distributors, and foodservice industry peers to expand business.
• Attend sales meetings, food shows, customer events, and provide feedback.
• Ensure data on prospect accounts is accurately entered in Sysco Salesforce.
