Job summary

Dow Inc. in Plaquemine, LA seeks an Associate Analytical Technician to provide analytical data for product releases and process optimization in the MPQ lab environment. You will perform GC, titrations, and spectrometry analyses and document results to support quality and safety standards.

Role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts with overtime as plant needs dictate. Training on OpenLab and related tools will be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science or 3+ years military equivalent accepted.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Able to work in an empowered team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• No visa sponsorship available for this U.S. position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses on GC, titrations, spectrometry, etc.
• Document, communicate, and archive results using IT tools like OpenLab.
• Follow EH&S, ODMS, AWP procedures and monitor analytical systems.
• Work in a team with rotating shifts and maintain high personal integrity.
• Learn to operate and calibrate analytical equipment and stay current with new tech.
