Job summary

Dow Inc. in Plaquemine, LA is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician to provide analytical data for product release and process optimization within the MPQ labs.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses on GC, titrations, and spectrometry, document results in OpenLab, and follow Environmental Health & Safety, ODMS and Analytical Work Processes. Work in a collaborative rotating-shift environment with a focus on accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in a science discipline (or 3+ years military experience) is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses using GC, titrations and spectrometry.
• Document, communicate and archive results using IT tools like OpenLab.
• Follow EH&S, ODMS, AWP procedures and maintain compliance.
• Monitor analytical systems and support lab operations in a team setting.
• Demonstrate personal integrity, strong work ethic and leadership behaviors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet plant needs and lab vacations/absences.
