Dow Inc. seeks an Associate Analytical Technician for its Plaquemine, LA site. The role provides analytical data to support product release, process optimization, and MPQ lab activities.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in science (chemistry hours) or has 3+ years military experience, with strong communication and IT skills. The position requires a 12-hour rotating shift, weekends/holidays, and no travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science with at least 20 hours in chemistry, or 3+ years of military experience.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Able to work in an empowered team environment and communicate effectively.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• No routine travel; must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses using GC, titrations, spectrometry, etc.
• Document, communicate, and archive results using IT software and OpenLab.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety, ODMS, quality procedures and AWP.
• Monitor analytical systems.
• Collaborate in a team environment and demonstrate leadership with safety and integrity.
