Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an Associate Analytical Technician for the Plaquemine, LA area. The role provides analytical data to support product development, process optimization, and quality assurance in MPQ labs.

You will operate GC, titrations, and spectrometry, and document results using OpenLab and Microsoft tools. Candidates should have an associate degree in science (or 3+ years military experience), strong communication skills, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science discipline or related field, or 3+ years military experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift with overtime and weekends/holidays.
• TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses on analytical equipment (GC, titrations, spectrometry).
• Document, communicate, and archive results using appropriate IT tools (OpenLab).
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety, ODMS, and AWP procedures.
• Monitor analytical systems and support lab team priorities.
• Demonstrate leadership through safe work habits and integrity.
• Collaborate effectively in an empowered team environment.
