Dow Inc. in Plaquemine, LA is hiring an Associate Analytical Technician to provide analytical data for product release and to enable process optimization in our MPQ lab network.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses using GC, titrations, and spectrometry, document results in OpenLab, and follow EH&S, ODMS, and AWP procedures. This role requires a 12-hour rotating shift, weekend and holiday coverage, strong communication, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow technical skills in a

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a science discipline (chemistry-focused) or 3+ years military experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Able to work in an empowered team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• No routine travel; able to work in the United States; TWIC card or eligibility.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses on analytical equipment (GC, titrations, spectrometry).
• Document, communicate, and archive results using IT software (OpenLab).
• Follow EH&S, ODMS, and AWP procedures and policies.
• Monitor analytical systems.
• Work in a team to meet plant needs and lab vacations.
