The Fountain Group in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced analyst to work on lipid nanoparticle-based pharmaceuticals, focusing on HPLC and BLI analyses of LNPs and components.

You will develop methods, relate physicochemical properties to efficacy and safety, and maintain rigorous data records. This is a 6-month, on-site contract with potential extension based on performance.

Formación

• :
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of combined academic and industry experience.
• Experience with RP-HPLC and HPLC.
• Experience with BLI and/or SPR.
• Analysis and characterization of LNPs / nanoparticles.
• Experience developing methods in gradient-elution HPLC modalities (RP, IPRP, or AEX).
• Experience with LCMS is desirable.
• Prism or JMP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze LNP-based pharmaceuticals using HPLC and BLI.

Details for the positionare as follows:

• Rate: $50-57 an hour
• Location: San Diego, CA – 100% onsite – Local candidates only
• 6 month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and business needs

Job Description:

• This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with new non-viral nucleic acid delivery tools for in vivo genome editing and gene therapy applications. This person will be engaged in the analysis of Client lipid nanoparticle-based pharmaceuticals.
• Work at the direction of Analytical scientists to analyze lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulating nucleic acids and LNP components using HPLC and Biolayer Interferometry (BLI)
• Develop methods to characterize LNPs and LNP components
• Establish relationships between physiochemical characteristics of experimental nanoparticle formulations and their efficacy and safety
• Maintain detailed records of analytical data
• Interface directly with other functional teams
• Share responsibility for basic lab management activities (supply ordering, instrument calibration, maintaining schedules)

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years of combined academic and industry experience.
• Must have experience with HPLC / RP-HPLC experience
• Must be within a commutable distance from in San Diego, CA.
• Experience with BLI and/or Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) required
• Analyzation and characterization of LNPs / nanoparticles
• Experience developing methods in gradient-elution HPLC modalities such as RP, IPRP, or AEX is required
• Experience with LCMS is desirable
• Prism or JMP preferred
