Dawar Consulting is seeking a Scientist II in San Diego, CA to support the development and analytical characterization of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery systems for in vivo genome editing and gene therapy applications.

Responsibilities include analyzing LNPs and nucleic acids using HPLC and BLI, developing analytical methods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance safety and efficacy studies while maintaining rigorous laboratory records.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Analyze lipid nanoparticles encapsulating nucleic acids and LNP components using HPLC and Biolayer Interferometry (BLI).
• Develop and optimize analytical methods to characterize LNPs and their components.
• Evaluate relationships between nanoparticle physicochemical properties and their efficacy and safety.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate analytical findings to cross-functional teams.
• Support routine laboratory operations, including supply ordering, instrument calibration, and scheduling.
