Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years in pharmaceutical sciences, bioengineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field.
• Experience developing methods in gradient-elution HPLC modalities such as RP, IPRP, or AEX is required.
• Experience with BLI or Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is highly desirable
• Experience with LCMS is desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistent results and effectively communicate them to the team
• Ability to be a team player, multitask and work on multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; prior experience with Prism, JMP is desirable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work at the direction of Analytical scientists to analyze lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulating nucleic acids and LNP components using HPLC and Biolayer Interferometry (BLI)
• Develop methods to characterize LNPs and LNP components
• Establish relationships between physiochemical characteristics of experimental nanoparticle formulations and their efficacy and safety
• Maintain detailed records of analytical data
• Interface directly with other functional teams
• Share responsibility for basic lab management activities (supply ordering, instrument calibration, maintaining schedules)
