Apollopros is seeking a Scientist II – Analytical (Contract) to advance gene therapy research in San Diego, onsite only. You will develop and implement analytical methods for lipid nanoparticle formulations and support cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

The role emphasizes HPLC/BLI technics, data analysis, rigorous documentation, and collaboration with formulation and process development groups.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline; minimum 5 years of industry experience.
• Hands‑on experience developing analytical methods using gradient‑elution HPLC (RP, IP‑RP, AEX); strong method development and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to organize data and documentation meticulously.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced research environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform analytical characterization of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and components.
• Conduct testing and data analysis using HPLC and BLI techniques.
• Develop, optimize, and qualify analytical methods for nanoparticle characterization.
• Investigate relationships between nanoparticle properties and biological safety/efficacy; maintain thorough records.
• Collaborate with formulation, process development and research scientists; support lab operations.
