Dawar Consulting, Inc. seeks a Scientist II to support development and analytical characterization of novel lipid nanoparticle–based delivery systems for in vivo genome editing and gene therapy applications in San Diego, CA.

The role involves analyzing NPs with HPLC/BLI, developing analytical methods, and communicating findings to cross-functional teams while assisting with routine lab operations. Long-term contract with extension potential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze lipid nanoparticles encapsulating nucleic acids and LNP components using HPLC and Biolayer Interferometry (BLI).
• Develop and optimize analytical methods to characterize LNPs and their components.
• Evaluate relationships between nanoparticle physicochemical properties and their efficacy and safety.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate analytical findings to cross-functional teams.
• Support routine laboratory operations, including supply ordering, instrument calibration, and scheduling.
