Job summary

Dow seeks an Associate Analytical Technician in Illinois to support manufacturing by performing laboratory analyses and reporting results to production teams. You will prepare samples, maintain instruments, and use software to acquire data, following SOPs and analytical methods.

The role requires normal lab skills, willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, and overtime as needed. No visa sponsorship is available for this US-based position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform routine analyses under supervision.
• Collect samples per Sample Plan.
• Perform preventive maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluate data validity and take appropriate action.
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate problems.
• Document and archive results.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures.
• Suggest improvements to lab processes.
• Process shipping paperwork.
